The Tillamook County Transportation District and its Board of Directors are proud to announce their 2008 service changes effective Monday, September 8, 2008.

The most significant change is the addition of Neskowin to the Tillamook- Pacific City route. TCTD will go to Neskowin four times a day Monday through Saturday at 7:03 am, 11:08 am, 2:08 pm, and 7:08 pm as an extension of our Pacific City route. Neskowin is in Fare Zone Three the same as Pacific City. Traveling from Tillamook to Neskowin would cost an adult rider two dollars ($2-). The stop will be at the vacant paved area next to the Neskowin Market Place. The stop times on the Pacific City route have changed due to adding Neskowin to our schedule. Be sure to check the new schedules and stop placards for the correct times!

Second, the 3:00 pm Manzanita-Cannon Beach route will depart Tillamook at 3:05 pm instead of 3:00 pm currently. The rest of the stops on this run will be five minutes later as well.

Third, we will make a loop around the City Hall block in Garibaldi on the northern Manzanita-Cannon Beach runs. The bus will now board riders from 6th Street and then turn back onto Highway 101 North to continue the route.

TCTD is delighted to continue to make service improvements to further enhance the transportation benefits to the citizens and tourists of Tillamook County. Please read the schedles carefully since some of the route times have changed. "Wave" schedules are available and we ask all riders to pick up a new schedule from a driver, one of the many racks around the county, our website, or from our District office at 3600 3rd St, Suite A, in Tillamook. Don’t forget that TCTD bus stop signs and rider information will be updated on 9/7/2008 and the WAVE’s Portland route as well as the other routes remains the same!
